Twisp River Catering is a Methow Valley catering company based in Twisp, Washington.
Our story
Dominick & Tarah Wernicke
We’re Dominick and Tarah Wernicke. We’ve run a full-service catering company built on off-site events before, and we ran the Idle a While Motel. Twisp River Catering brings that experience home to the valley.
Our food leans into what the Northwest does best: meats smoked in-house, Columbia River steelhead, scratch desserts, local produce and seasonal Lapin cherries, with vegetarian and vegan dishes that don’t feel like an afterthought.
We’re also the team working to reopen the Twisp River Tap House, the riverside pub on Methow Valley Highway in Twisp. That reopening is still in progress.

Our sister company Weddings in the Methow offers full-service wedding planning and coordination in the valley: venue matchmaking, full or partial planning, wedding-weekend coordination, and help with lodging and guest logistics. They plan the day; we cook and pour for it, on one shared timeline.
